Every job below is one we do ourselves across La Mirada.
We form, grade and pour driveways sized for daily traffic, not just a car sitting on it. Base compaction and rebar placement decide whether it cracks in three years or holds for thirty.
A patio slab gets pitched away from the house so water doesn't pool against the foundation. We finish it broomed, stamped or exposed aggregate depending on what you want underfoot.
Stamped concrete gives you the look of flagstone, brick or slate without individual pieces to shift or weed between. We seal it after curing to hold the color and keep it from picking up stains.
Cracks, spalling and sunken corners don't always mean a full tear-out. We saw-cut and remove the damaged section, tie in new rebar, and pour a patch that matches the existing grade and finish.
Sheds, garages and ADUs need a slab that's flat, level and compacted enough to carry the load for decades. We check the soil and adjust the base thickness before we set a single form board.
Tree roots lift more walkways around here than anything else. We remove the section the roots are under, install a root barrier where it makes sense, and repour to match the existing joints.
Steps take more direct wear than almost any other slab on the property. We reinforce the treads and risers with rebar so they don't crack at the corners first.
If the slab underneath is sound but the surface has pitted or discolored, resurfacing gives you a new wearing layer without a full replacement. It's not a fix for a slab that's cracked through or settling.
A retaining wall holds back soil that would otherwise erode into your yard or undermine a slab uphill. We install drainage behind the wall so water pressure doesn't push it out over time.
Exposed aggregate gives you a slip-resistant, textured surface that holds up well on pool decks and driveways. We wash back the surface at the right point in the cure, before it sets too hard to expose the stone.
Four steps, and no surprises in any of them.
You tell us what you want doing, we look at what is actually there, and we ask the awkward questions early.
In writing, itemised, free. If something might add cost later we flag it now rather than at the end.
Same crew throughout. We cover your floors, keep the dust down and tidy up before we leave each day.
You point out anything you are not happy with and we fix it before the invoice, not after.
We bring concrete crews and equipment to these areas.
What to know once a concrete project is underway.
Describe the problem and we will tell you what it probably is. No obligation.
