Concrete Driveways

We form, grade and pour driveways sized for daily traffic, not just a car sitting on it. Base compaction and rebar placement decide whether it cracks in three years or holds for thirty.

Concrete Patios

A patio slab gets pitched away from the house so water doesn't pool against the foundation. We finish it broomed, stamped or exposed aggregate depending on what you want underfoot.

Stamped Concrete

Concrete Steps & Stairs

Steps take more direct wear than almost any other slab on the property. We reinforce the treads and risers with rebar so they don't crack at the corners first.

Concrete Resurfacing

If the slab underneath is sound but the surface has pitted or discolored, resurfacing gives you a new wearing layer without a full replacement. It's not a fix for a slab that's cracked through or settling.

Concrete Retaining Walls

A retaining wall holds back soil that would otherwise erode into your yard or undermine a slab uphill. We install drainage behind the wall so water pressure doesn't push it out over time.

Exposed Aggregate Concrete

Exposed aggregate gives you a slip-resistant, textured surface that holds up well on pool decks and driveways. We wash back the surface at the right point in the cure, before it sets too hard to expose the stone.

Do I need a permit to pour a new driveway or patio?
Most cities require a permit for a new driveway apron or a patio slab over a certain size, and the concrete contractor typically pulls it as part of the job. Smaller repairs and resurfacing usually don't need one, but it varies by city.
How long does a typical concrete driveway take to complete?
A standard driveway usually takes two to four days, one for demo and base prep, one for forms and pour, and a couple more before it's ready to drive on. Curing to full strength takes about 28 days even though you can walk on it much sooner.
Can concrete work be done on a tight budget?
Cost can be brought down by choosing a plain broom finish over stamped or exposed aggregate, keeping the slab at standard thickness, and limiting the footprint of the pour. Cutting corners on base compaction or rebar to save money usually costs more later in repairs.
Do you guarantee your concrete work?
Workmanship should be backed by a written warranty covering cracking or settling that results from the install itself, separate from normal shrinkage cracks that concrete can develop as it cures. Ask what's covered and for how long before the job starts.
Who do I deal with day to day during the project?
On most concrete jobs you deal directly with the crew lead or contractor running the pour, who can answer questions about timeline and finish while work is happening. Having one point of contact avoids mixed messages about changes mid-project.
What materials do you use for concrete driveways and patios?
Standard concrete mix runs around 3,000 to 4,000 PSI depending on the use, with rebar recommended over wire mesh for anything that carries vehicle weight. Fiber additives help control surface cracking on driveways and pool decks.
Can I stay in my house while concrete work is being done?
Living at home during a driveway or patio pour is fine, though the driveway itself will be blocked to vehicle traffic for several days while it cures. Dust and noise from demo are usually limited to daytime hours.
